IICP College is proud to be an organising partner for the 1st International Conference on Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. The conference will be held in Abertay University, Dundee, Scotland from 17-18 March 2018.
This event is the first international conference which sees academics, practitioners and trainers come together to explore and discuss the full range of issues associated with the practice of Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy.
The keynote speaker will be Professor Mick Cooper, an internationally recognised figure in the areas of humanistic, existential, relational and pluralistic therapy. Mick’s main area of research interest is school-based counselling, but he is also well as the author of ‘Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy‘ and ‘The Handbook of Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy’.
The plenary speaker will be Professor John McLeod, who is Emertus Professor of Counselling at Abertay University, as well as holding Professorial appointments at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo, and IICP College in Dublin. John is author of 13 books and over 100 articles and chapters, on a wide range of topics in counselling and psychotherapy.
The conference will be attended by a number of IICP College’s faculty members and students.
