IICP College is delighted to announce that it has been awarded professional accreditation for its four-year BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Since 2006, IICP College has been professionally accredited by IACP for its Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. In 2017, due to changes in the regulatory environment, IACP has notified us of an;
“increase of the minimal requirement for Counselling & Psychotherapy (for the purpose of accreditation and course accreditation) to Degree / Post-graduate Programmes Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications. This change will be implemented on 1st September 2018.”
As a result, IICP College obtained professional accreditation for its four-year BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. The programme has been validated Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) since 2010. Our students who commence this programme in September 2018 and onwards, can be confident that the academic and professional rigour that is part of our ethos has been applied to this four-year programme.
