Alan Dignam

Alan is an IACP accredited therapist, and holds a BA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a MA in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP. Alan lectures on several modules across the BSc program within IICP, such as, practice development, Professional Skills, Improving clinical outcomes, as well as supervising student academic research.

Having worked in the corporate IT field for over 13 years, Alan now works in private practice with a range of client issues, but has as special interest in working with gender, sexual and relationship diverse clients. Alan has already completed academic research related this area such as gay male monogamy and LGBT+ clients experience of therapy. In addition, he is currently undertaking further academic research on the intersection of transgender and neurodiversity.
